Reliable Consumer is a YouTube channel and website about practical Amazon products for older adults and the families who help them.

Most of our audience is over 65, and a big part of it is adult children and caregivers looking for ways to make a parent’s home easier and safer to live in. That shapes everything we make: calm, clear explanations, no hype, and a focus on products that solve real everyday problems, like reaching, gripping, standing up, seeing small print, remembering routines or staying connected.

How we work

• We research, we don’t guess. Each product is checked against its exact Amazon listing and the manufacturer’s information. If we can’t verify a feature, we don’t mention it. Read how we choose products.
• We’re honest about testing. We do not claim to have tested every product hands-on. When we have, we say so.
• We tell you who it’s for, and who it isn’t for. Every pick includes when we’d skip it. Expensive isn’t automatically better.
• We respect safety limits. Our content is general information, not medical advice. For health, mobility and fall-related products, we recommend talking with a doctor, pharmacist or therapist.
